I am thinking about deactivating my account

It saddens us to hear that you're considering to deactivate your account. A quick recap of everything Cozy Maid offers you:

  • A flexible schedule - work when you feel like it!
  • Be your own boss: no clocking in or out!
  • Set your own rate: earn what you deserve!

How can we help?

  1. Need a break? Going on vacation?
    • If so, there's no need to deactivate your account. Simply ignore incoming requests, for now, we have plenty of other cleaners who can cover for you.
  2. Receiving too many texts or requests?
    • You may opt out of receiving marketing text (SMS or MMS) messages from us by replying with the word "STOP" to a text message from us.
  3. Don't have enough jobs?
    • We assure you that we are growing and we advertise you to new clients every day.
    • You may want to consider expanding the hours and days you are available to clean by going to Availability on your dashboard and clicking on a time, date, or general availability for the week.
      • Green is available and gray is not available.
  4. You may also want to expand the areas that you cover to get more clients.
    1. Go to your Coverage Map.
    2. Select the neighborhoods where you want requests from.
    3. Click 'Save'.
  5. Not enough pay?
    • As an independent contractor, you can set your pay rate. You may update your pay rate directly from your dashboard once every 7 days. If you want to update it sooner, please message cleaner support for assistance in doing so.

If you're certain that you want your account paused, please make sure that:

  1. Your account must be active and not suspended.
  2. Your account must have no claimed or pending jobs. You may either choose to finish up your remaining jobs or cancel them for other cleaners to claim.

Once your account no longer has jobs, you may click Contact Support below this article. You will receive a confirmation email and a text from us once your account has been successfully deactivated. Once deactivated, you will no longer receive notifications from us.
